Who is life coaching for?

Coaching is for people who have been affected by change, or have chosen to change something in their life or work.  People who feel a lack of self-confidence or a loss of control of part of their life.  People who miss their personal goals for themselves or feel they could do better.  People who struggle with work/life balance, have lost the love for their work but feel tied to it because of money, ambition, the needs of others or a fear of change.

People who procrastinate, feel lazy, bored or unfocused.  People who know there’s something that’s not right but they find it difficult to put their finger on it.  People who find some other people difficult to live or work with.  People seeking a more positive, more fulfilled, more successful future in their life and work

Coaching is for people who seek clarity, ownership, accountability and responsibility for their choices.  People who recognise that change is tough and embedding new habits even tougher.  People who want to better understand who they are and where they’re going.  People who recognise the benefits of working with a partner who is on their side.  People who want to invest in themselves  and expect results for their investment.

Coaching sits alongside and complements many other interventions.  Coaching isn’t a substitute for therapy – psychotherapy or counselling services.  Coaching isn’t advisory – it does not provide the levels of directed advice normally provided in mentoring or training.
